I recently chanced upon a book at my local bookshop Kinokuniya.

It is called Compound Cinematics.

It is written by Shinobu Hashimoto.

It details his experience working with the great director, Akira Kurosawa. Hashimoto also shares the lessons on screenwriting he absorbed from his mentors.
