The Screenwriters Association Welcomes You

The medieval times.

Times when ladies were known as damsels, and gentlemen aspire to be knights.

You may have had an interest in the forging of a sword. Or perhaps the intricate making of a watch intrigued you, and you wished to learn the craft.

Who can you consult? How would you know if you were any good? And where can you bond, over a plate of pork knuckles, and a stein of beer, and exchange good old-fashioned tips, share your passion, and gripes over an aspect of craft mastery?

Where would you start?

You start by joining a guild.

As it was then, so it is now.

Begin by joining an Association.

Be part of a tribe, a community that shares your passion for the screenwriting craft.

Who empathize with your struggle to shape that perfect sentence.

Who knows the toil it takes to flesh out a story.

You are not alone.

For it takes a writer to truly know the pain and joy of another writer.

The Screenwriter’s Association will be holding its first get-together since the pandemic.

We welcome new and old members.
