WHAT THE ACTION BLOCKBUSTER “RRR” CAN TEACH YOU ABOUT CHARACTER WRITING

Without hesitation, the hero leaps over a fence and proceeds to fight his way through hundreds of hostiles in his quest to capture the prisoner.

He succeeds.

Set big goals for your characters.

Create near impossible odds for them.

Have your characters show near superhuman effort in overcoming the obstacles.

Hurt them a lot as they achieve their goals.

In every story that you write, believe passionately in your characters, and have them express their philosophy and intent with action.
